Thermo Carving Board
Thermo Carving Dish
This unique carving dish provides an ingenious solution to the problem of keeping your meat warm. The THERMO dish has a 6mm aluminium block built into the base that retains heat for up to 30 minutes. The oak chopping board fits neatly over the carving spikes for safe storage (and can be used on its own for chopping or serving)
Since stainless steel does not retain heat very well traditional carving dishes only stay warm for a short time. Aluminium is a far better conductor of heat and the aluminium block in the THERMO dish retains heat much more effectively. In a medium oven the dish will take 30 minutes to reach optimum temperature. The central carving surface will stay warm for about half an hour, so meat can be sliced and kept warm for first and second helpings!!
