Henckels Knives
Henckels Knives were founded in Germany in 1731. Since its foundation, Henckels has earned a wide reputation as one of the world’s very best manufacturers of knives. To celebrate their history of almost 300 years, Henckels Knives have introduced a truly superb range of knives which are named Henckels Twin 1731.
The Henckels twin 1731 is a range for the cook who demands the very best – with no compromises. Truly a range of knives that is quite unique. The steel used in this range is termed Cronidur 30 high performance steel. It is a steel that has been developed within aerospace technology. This ensures that the blade will stay sharp for a long period of time, has inherent resistance to corrosion, and being forged from a single piece of steel, which is ice-hardened using the Sigmaforge process, has superb stability and strength.
The handles of the Henckels Twin 1731 range are crafted with great precision from untreated, oiled Makassor ebony wood. The design has been created by internationally renowned Milan based designer and architect, Matteo Thun. The design is a truly harmonious blend of German craftsmanship and international design flair, resulting in a knife of unique quality and beauty.
