Henckels Twin Select Cooks Knife 20cm (30441-201)
These knives are styled on the Five Star range but have a metal handle which is designed for comfort and which will appeal to the contemporary chef.
Blades are made from Henckels stainless steel. Like all Henckels knives the Twin Select range has the advantage of utilising the unique “Friodur” process. This is an ice-hardening process developed and patented by JA Henckels which involves freezing the steel used in the manufacturing process to -70 degrees centigrade. This results in a metal of exceptional hardness and high resistance to corrosion.
The manufacturing process also incorporates the Henckels Sintermetal Component Technology (SCT) Process which allows differing grades of steel to be combined to form a single integral piece, thus the blade, bolster and tang have steel with the best characteristics for the job. SCT permits far greater degrees of quality throughout the production process.
