This egg poacher features the following excellent qualities:
a unique patented Triplinduc 7 ply base with a 5mm pure aluminium heat conducting layer as well as the unique Demeyere Silvinox electrochemical treatment that improves the resistance of stainless steel.
All straight sided pots, casseroles, sauté pans and stock pots have the unique patented Triplinduc 7 ply base with a 5 mm pure aluminium heat conducting layer. The total thickness is going from 6.4 to 6.8 mm (0.25’’ to 0.27’’). Triplinduc material was developed by Demeyere to assure that all their cookware will work to best advantage for a lifetime on any type of hob, including induction. At any time you may switch from one hob to another. The combination of base and heavy stainless steel body (non-heat conducting) ensures significant energy savings.
All products are processed with the unique Demeyere Silvinox electrochemical treatment that improves the resistance of stainless steel. This prevents discoloration, tarnishing and dulling due to fingerprints, aggressive dishwasher soaps or contact with certain types of food. In addition Silvinox treated stainless steel is much easier to clean.
