Greenpans are amazing new pans from Typhoon. They are made entirely from recycled materials - though you would never know this to look at them in all their gleaming newness! The non-stick pan linings are PTFE and PFOA free. This means that they are made in an environmentally safe process. And they do not emit any potentially toxic fumes when in use - unlike some non-stick pans on the market today. With their hard anodised construction they are very efficient at conducting the heat from your cooker, so they consume less energy that conventional pans - hence the name emphasises their green credentials. The non-stick lining is ceramic based: it is very effective and more durable and tougher than regular non-stick coatings, and will last longer. It is also able to stand use at higher temperatures than normal non-stick coatings. Normal coatings usable up to 260 degrees C, but the Greenpan is heat resistant right up to 450 degrees C.

Greenpans are able to be used on any type of cooker, including induction.
