The Multi Temp kettle holds 1.7 Litres, and is made from stainless steel with an easy to clean filter and a concealed element which reduces limescale. The Cuisinart Multi Temp has a digital temperature control, with two preset temperatures and also the option to manually control the heat in 5 degree steps. The Multi Temp includes an Eco feature, which turns the kettle to stand by when it is not in use. It has a 3kW rapid boil element with a safety boil dry cut out. As with all Cuisinart products this kettle is built to last and comes with 3 years guarantee.

Correct temperatures for brewing different varieties of tea vary considerably. Some green tea will not maintain its flavour or therapeutic properties if the water is too close to boiling whilst black tea will not infuse correctly if the water is not boiling.
